The
Walsall
primary schools part 1 finals at
Brownhills
School
saw 17 league winners and runners-up battling for the two
available places in the
West Midlands
final in February.
In the east section both semi-finals and
the final went to extra-time. The final saw Blackwood and St Michael's unable to
produce a goal after extra-time. St Michael's eventually won 3-1
on penalties.
In the west section Hatherton beat Beacon 1-0 in the semi-final. The other
semi-final saw Leamore and Elmore Green locked at 0-0 after extra-time. Elmore
Green won 4-3
on penalties. In the final Elmore Green repeated the semi-final
performance to beat Hatherton 4-3 on penalties after a goalless score line in
normal play.
